Big Bradford Lake
Size: 228 acres
Max Depth: 102 feet
Clarity: 20 feet
Nearest Town: Waters
Fishing: Pike, Perch, Bass, Bluegill
A number of warm water species are available in this 228-acre lake. These inhabitants of Big Bradford's "upper story" include largemouth bass, northern pike, bluegills, and perch. The bass, which are found in good numbers, run from 16 to 20 inches. The pike found in decent numbers, average a much more than decent 30 inches. The panfish are of eating size.
This lake is dominated by three big holes that are 90-feet, 102-feet, and 80-feed deep, respectively. Look for pike in the southern hole (spot 1). For bass, try the narrows (spot 2) between the two most northern holes. For panfish, fish the shallows off the northeast shoreline (spot 3). If you use a depth finder, this is a good lake to use it on because there are lots of places for fish to hide.
